School Mission

 

The mission of Dora Kennedy French Immersion is to provide a rich, challenging, rewarding instructional program based on literacy that will allow our students to become competent French speakers who are active, compassionate and lifelong learners. We will uphold high expectations and accountability for ourselves and our students. We will maintain positive and professional collaboration while maintaining open communication with parents and other stakeholders.
 

 Fourth Grade Team Proposed Mission

 

The mission of the Fourth Grade Team is to provide a learner-centered instructional technology integrated program that will allow our students to become competent French speakers prepared to enter the global community of the 21st century.

The vision of Dora Kennedy French Immersion is to create a learning community that is caring, principled, reflective and open-minded. Such a community will help our students develop into multilingual inquirers, critical thinkers, and communicators.
